The biggest editorial feature of the year confirms the success of the first volume of the book
The biggest editorial phenomenon of these past years, Nothing To Lose 2 closed the year of 2013 building on the editorial success of the first book. The autobiography of Bishop Edir Macedo, co-written with author Douglas Tavolaro, Vice President of Journalism of Rede Record, finished the year with more than 1,000,000 copies sold worldwide.
These figures are according to data available from Publish News excluding small bookstores, newsstands and department store rankings.
In only three months, the book reached the record amount of more than 1,000,000 copies sold.
The success promises to continue in 2014! The book already started this year as a bestseller on top of the list in January.
The second volume of the autobiography of Edir Macedo, shows how it was possible to transform a small church that started in a funeral home in Bahia, into thousands of temples, with millions of faithful worldwide. Nothing to Lose 2 also reveals the strategy in acquiring Rede Record and presents an in depth view into the world of Brazilian television.
The book is amongst the top places among all the categories on the ranking of Publish News since its release, in September of 2013. The first volume of Nothing To Lose also appears between the first places by Publish News.
On the traditional ranking of the magazine Veja, the book has been at the top since the beginning, always standing out among other non-fiction books.
The autobiography Nothing To Lose 2 – My Challenges When Facing the Impossible presents the never before revealed memories of Bishop Edir Macedo. It was co-written with the author Douglas Tavolaro, the Vice President of Journalism of Rede Record.
On every launch, the number of readers and copies sold always exceeds the previous volume's. Nothing to Lose 1 sold more than 1,200,000 copies.
