Nothing to Lose 3 breaks new records throughout Brazil and becomes the biggest editorial phenomenon of the year

The success of Nothing to Lose 3 proves that the book is the biggest editorial phenomenon in the past years in the country. The autobiography of Bishop Edir Macedo, written with co-author Douglas Tavolaro, Vice President of Journalism of Rede Record, became, in just a few weeks, the most sold book of the year.
The numbers were published this past Fridaym, the 19th, by Publish News. In nine weeks, the book surpassed all other books in the rankings, and took first place with more than 750,000 copies sold.
The number was achieved week by week, remaining in first place in the ranking of Publish News and other editorial publications.
This is the second consecutive year that the book is the biggest best-seller in the country. In 2013, Nothing to Lose 2 also was the biggest best-seller in Brazil, and until today it is still among the best selling books of 2014, appearing as the 13th book most bought in the country.
The success promises to continue in 2015, with the book launches in São Paulo and throughout the world.
A Best Seller
Nothing to Lose 3 – From the Bandstand to The Temple of Solomon: A Faith that Transforms is currently the highest selling book since its launch in October. Each week, the numbers are more and more surprising.
The book has also appeared for eight consecutive weeks as the most sold in the ranking in the magazine Veja. It also appeared for 5 weeks in the ranking in the magazine Época, and is in the top of the most sold books in the newspapers Folha de São Paulo and O Globo.
On every launch, the number of books sold surpasses the previous volume’s sales.
The trilogy of Nothing to Lose bring to us the story of Bishop Edir Macedo presenting different topics. The first book, Nothing to Lose – Moments of Belief that Changed My Life, revealed the obstacles that were overcome by the biggest leader of the evangelic segment of the country and left a mark of 1 million copies sold.
The second volume, Nothing to Lose 2 – My Challenges When Facing the Impossible, tells us the path aquiring Rede Record, the journey that involved great dilemmas and confrontations. The first two books sold more than 4,000,000 copies in the worldwide.
The last book of the series, Nothing to Lose 3 – From the Bandstand to The Temple of Solomon: A Faith that Transforms, contains moving stories of overcoming all types of adversities and reaching millions of faithful in the most remote places on the planet. The book also reveals stories about the personal life of Bishop Edir Macedo as a father and a husband. In these pages the reader will find personal pictures of the Bishop and learn about his marriage and family life.
This year, the book was be released on the 9th in Campos de Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro. In January of 2015, São Paulo, will have its chance to host the book launch.
