The Worldwide Success, Nothing to Lose 3, is launched in New York

After the success in Europe, the United States received 6,000 people and sold more than 90,000 books on the launch of Nothing to Lose 3 – From the Bandstand to The Temple of Solomon: A Faith that Transforms, the autobiography of Bishop Edir Macedo. The lines started forming at five o’clock in the morning.
The event occurred in New York, at the Barclay’s Center and was attended by presence of members and supporters of The Universal Church of the Spanish, English and Portuguese Churches. The event also counted with the presence of the Congresswoman Lystra Collis. During the event, an emotional tribute was made to Mrs. Geninha, mother of Bishop Edir Macedo.
Bishop Romualdo, which autographed the books along with Bishop Bira Fonseca and Bishop Franklin Sanches, gave a speech explaining the importance the mother of Bishop Macedo:
Mrs. Geninha also had a very important role in the story of The Universal Church because in the beginning of the church, when no one believed in Bishop’s work, she was the only person that believed and even gave her apartment for the first rented church. With this, giving a head start to this magnificent work that has helped thousands of people throughout the world. For this reason, she is cited in the autobiography of Bishop Macedo.
The Barclay’s Center Stadium, located in the heart of Brooklyn, receives major sports events and entertainment. Artists and famous bands such as Barbra Streisand, Coldplay and Rolling Stones have performed shows on site. The arena is home to the Brooklyn Nets, New York’s best basketball team in this current NBA season.
Before the United States, the release of Nothing to Lose 3 was a success with audiences and sales in Europe. The book launch also had an enormous impact in Switzerland, France, Spain, Belgium , Colombia, Ecuador, Trinidad and Tobago , Honduras and Costa Rica. In addition to Portugal , where a crowd gathered to get a signed copy of the autobiography of Bishop Macedo which until now, the country sold more than 27,000 books .
Within a few weeks, Nothing to Lose managed to break yet another record becoming the largest editorial phenomenon of 2014 year in Brazil. Throughout the world the success continues. The book Nothing to Lose 3 is the best-selling, non-fiction book of 2015.
Since the launch, the autobiography also appears first in the ranking of the magazine Época, and at the top of the most read books of Veja magazine. Bishop Edir Macedo’s autobiography also stands out at the top of the bestseller lists of the newspapers Folha de S. Paulo and O Globo.
The trilogy of Nothing to Lose is the biography most sold of recent years. There are more than 7 million copies sold worldwide.
The trilogy of Nothing to Lose bring to us the story of Bishop Edir Macedo narrating about diverse aspects. The first book, Nothing to Lose – Moments of Belief that Changed My Life, revealed the obstacles that were overcome by the biggest leader of the evangelic segment of the country and left a mark of 1 million copies sold.
