Nothing to Lose resumes International Book Launch Agenda with events in Europe

Portugal, Mexico and Venezuela inaugurated the release of the new edition of the autobiography by Bishop Edir Macedo.
Once again, the publishing phenomenon of Nothing to Lose 3 conquers the world. Several countries receive since the beginning of March the launch events of the third volume of the autobiography of Bishop Macedo, written with Co-author with Douglas Tavolaro, Vice President of Journalism of Rede Record.
This time, the releases began in Mexico, on 8 March. The cities of Guadalajara and Acapulco received the first events of the third volume of the book. A few days later it was Caracas (Venezuela), Cancun and Monterrey’s (both in Mexico) turn.
One of the main highlights of this new phase of launches took place in Lisbon on the 14th of March. In the Portuguese capital, more than 5,000 people attended Palácio da Ajuda in search of a copy of the book. The building, originally designed to be a fort, is the former royal Portuguese palace. In the country, the sale of over 24,000 units Nothing to Lose 3 - The Bandstand at the Temple of Solomon: The Faith that Transforms was counted. And that number should increase as the other releases occur in the country.
In Mexico, crowds participated in several cities where he book was released. Guadalajara, Acapulco, Cancun, Veracruz, Monterrey and the capital, Mexico City, summed the presence of more than 50,000 people, with 120,000 books sold to date.
In Acapulco, the queues stretched for several blocks. In Cancun, with the high number of readers, it was needed for autographs to be given while the people were in line in order to meet the demand. In Guadalajara, with the high number of people, who lined up several blocks away, the autograph table was set on the sidewalk.
In Mexico City, the National Auditorium, one of the most important buildings in the country, staged the release of Nothing to Lose 3. More than 30,000 people attended the location to get an autographed copy of the book.
In Venezuela, readers have taken over one of the most important bookstores in Caracas capital.
In the coming days, the release schedule continues throughout Paraguay, Portugal, Peru, Mexico and Uruguay.
The trilogy of Nothing to Lose bring to us the story of Bishop Edir Macedo narrating about diverse aspects. The first book, Nothing to Lose – Moments of Belief that Changed My Life, revealed the obstacles that were overcome by the biggest leader of the evangelic segment of the country and left a mark of 1 million copies sold.
The second volume, Nothing to Lose 2 – My Challenges When Facing the Impossible, tells us the path of the conquering of the Rede Record, the track that involved great dilemmas and confrontations. The first two books sold more than 4 million copies in the entire world.
The last book of the series, Nothing to Lose 3 – From the Bandstand to The Temple of Solomon: A Faith that Transforms, possesses moving stories of whom overcame all types of adversities and conquered millions of faithful in the most remote places in the planet. The book also reveals a little bit about the personal life of Bishop Edir Macedo as a father and husband. On his pages, it’s possible to find personal pictures of the Bishop and secretes about his marriage, which has triggered the curiosity of many readers.
In very few weeks, Nothing to Lose 3 managed to break yet another record and has become the biggest editorial phenomenon of the year 2014 on Brazil. The autobiography of Bishop Edir Macedo has become, in less than two months, the book most sold of the year. Throughout the world it isn’t any different.
Only in 2014, it was about 800 thousand that were sold, becoming the biggest national best-seller, in front of other world successes, such as, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Until today the second volume is still within the most sold books according to Publish News.
This was the second consecutive year that the book is the most sold in the country. In 2013, Nothing to Lose 2 was also the biggest national best-seller, as well as throughout the world.
Since the book launch, the book also appears in first place on the ranking of the magazines Veja and Época, and shows up as well on the top of the lists of the most sold in the newspapers Folha de São Paulo and O Globo.
